Jon
President of We Write Your Songs
As Founder and President of We Write Your Songs, Jon has been writing and recording music for over 25 years. As a young man, he began writing music for his loved ones, relating powerful experiences from each of their lives. From love stories to overcoming depression, Jon has managed to tailor each of his songs to the life experiences of his friends and family. Apart from his song writing abilities, Jon is also a talented musician. His instrumental expertise includes the Electric Guitar, Bass Guitar, and Piano. Jon also helps lay down lead and backup vocal tracks for Granola Rock, Pop, Gospel, and Ballad genres. From high school musicals, to city fair days performances, Jon has been sharing his musical talent with live audiences for most of his adult life. His favorite pastime is playing music with his children and wife in their family band.
Colton
From a young age, Colton has been playing music and performing in front of live audiences. He has also worked as a DJ for weddings, school dances, private events, and city fair days. As Head of Production for We Write Your Songs, Colton works with clients and helps write lyrics that bring their stories and ideas to life. Colton also helps discover the melody that best fits the lyrics of each song. As one of our main producers, Colton has two years of Mixing and Mastering experience using the professional music production software, Logic Pro X. His Instrumental emphasis includes Software Instruments, Percussion, Acoustic and Electric Guitar, and Keyboards. Colton also provides lead and backup vocal soundtracks, specifically for Country, Rock, Pop, Gospel, and Ballad genres.
Steve
Steve has been writing for over 35 years. He specializes in writing Poems, Songs, Speeches, Eulogies, Mission Statements, Vision Statements, Jokes & Standup Comedy Routines, Short Stories, Campaign Slogans, Platform Layouts, Christmas/Birthday/Special Event Cards, Company Names/Tag Lines/Branding etc. Steve possesses the ability to write Eulogies, Songs, Speeches, Poems etc. for people he has never met. He collects information about the person or special event and composes the text from that information. He has a vast library of hundreds of Poems, Songs and Short Stories, many of which came from personal experiences. He writes lyrical material for Country, Gospel, and Rock Music. He writes Poems in many genres, including Cowboy Poetry, Gospel, Americana and Abstract. Steve has written material for local bands, campaigns, businesses and newspapers. He enjoys the excitement and challenge of creating new original material, whether it’s for a local band, a special event or for an individual’s special occasion
